My Appearance on NBC's Songland TV Show

What a complete blast it was to be a part of NBC’s Songland TV show for last night’s Florida Georgia Line episode! I’ve been a fan of the show since its inception, and it was a thrill to be invited to perform “That’s a Country Song” for the esteemed panel of song wizards (I’ll take Shane McAnally calling me “the real deal” to my grave)! I loved hanging out with my fellow songwriter presenters Shawn Austin, Lukr, and Griffen Palmer. Three out of the four of us on this episode were Canucks! Go figure. Congrats to all the participants who worked their butts off to rewrite their songs for the duo, and to Griffen for nailing the big FGL cut with his song “Second Guessing”.
